Izzai Martinez Angulo (b. 1998 Tucson, Arizona) is a Mexican artist working in photography and sculpture while highlighting the complex relationship between gender and the body through Mexican identities. His work consists of digital photography, worn fabrics, self-constructed frames, found objects and manipulated plastic. Family, intimacy, and masculinity are at the core of his work.


He got his Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the University of Arizona and is currently a 3rd year Master of Fine Arts student at the University of California, San Diego.
